Host and guests sharing cards, non-cash chips and small plates at a restaurant table
NIGHT SERVICE / 01

Poker evenings, dealt at the table

Wonderstar s. r. o. Poker Evenings are in-person restaurant-based entertainment: take a seat, meet the host and share the table with cards, chips and conversation. As the dining room changes pace, the session stays attentive, social and grounded in the room around you.

FORMAT / 01

How the room runs

Each evening is a hosted, seated social session inside the restaurant. Your host welcomes the table, introduces the rhythm of cards and chips, and helps the room settle naturally around the people in it. It is designed for being together in person: a table with cues to follow, space to talk and a warm restaurant atmosphere from the first arrival to the final goodbye.

TABLE RITUAL / HOST IN THE FLOW
01

Arrive and settle

Check in, enter the room and let the host direct you towards the table. There is no need to rush into the evening; this is a restaurant-led arrival, with time to take in the room, greet the people around you and find a comfortable place in the shared setting.

02

Meet the table

The opening moments bring cards, chips and the table’s shared rhythm into view. Chips are simply physical markers that help everyone follow the session together. If this is your first visit, the host is nearby to make the sequence feel clear, comfortable and easy to join.

03

Play, pause, dine

Conversation carries through the middle of the night, with hosted attention keeping the table connected. Pause for food or a drink, share a thought with a neighbour, then return to the cards without stepping outside the restaurant atmosphere that gives the evening its pace.

DINING IN THE FLOW
04

Finish together

The session closes as a shared restaurant evening rather than a result to chase. Gather your things, exchange a last word across the table and leave at an unhurried pace, with the room’s conversation still carrying the night beyond the cards.

SESSION BOARD

Choose your evening rhythm

The programme is shaped around hosted restaurant sessions, not a live timetable on a screen. Use the reservation route to select or enquire about an upcoming place, then let the room and host set the pace once you arrive. These formats are useful ways to choose an atmosphere for your in-person evening.

Early room

For guests who prefer a gentler start: arrive into the restaurant, get settled and meet the host before the room finds its fuller social rhythm. It suits an unhurried first impression and a calm table conversation.

Hosted table

The central expression of the evening: a lively shared room, cards and chips on the table, and a host who holds the social rhythm. Take a seat for the core in-person experience, where guests follow the same table cues together.

FIRST SEAT / 04

First seat notes

Come as you are

You do not need to arrive with a rehearsed table manner. The host introduces the room, helps establish a shared rhythm and makes space for people finding their feet. An in-person table works best when everyone can settle into it at their own pace.

The table tools

Cards and chips are tangible parts of the ritual: visible objects that help the table follow the hosted session together. Watch the host’s cues, keep the tabletop clear enough to read, and let the physical rhythm of handling cards bring everyone into the same moment.

ROOM NOTE

A good table has room for everyone

Follow host cues, leave room for conversation and treat the table as shared restaurant space. The point is not to perform expertise; it is to make the evening comfortable for the people beside you, whether they are returning guests or taking a first seat.

DINING / 05

Supper stays in the room

Food and drink are part of the evening’s social pace, not a separate interruption from it. A shared plate, a pause between table moments and a return to conversation all belong to the same card-room atmosphere. You can move between hosted attention and supper without leaving behind the warm, urban restaurant setting that makes the night feel considered.

PACE / HOST + HOUSE

The host helps the table retain a comfortable rhythm while dining remains part of the broader restaurant evening. There is space to take a moment, talk across the table and rejoin the flow naturally, without turning the meal into a fixed schedule.

ROOM SIGNALS / 06

Shared-table signals

A few small cues keep the table easy for everyone to share.

01 / OPENING

Follow the opening cue

Arrive ready to join a shared table and let the host set the tone as the session begins. A welcoming start gives everyone the same point of reference and lets the room settle into its own social pace.

02 / TABLE

Keep the table readable

Use cards and chips with clear, considered movements so the tabletop remains easy for everyone to follow. These physical tools work best when they stay visible, orderly and part of the shared rhythm.

03 / ROOM

Leave room for the room

Give space to the host and fellow guests while keeping the late-night conversation warm. A good in-person gathering holds more than one voice, with enough attention left for the table itself.

04 / HOST

Ask at the table

If you need a moment, a clarification or help finding the evening’s rhythm, ask the host. Their presence is there to help the room stay comfortable, connected and hospitable for everyone.

GROUP ROUTE / 07

Bring your own table

Private poker evenings offer a way to bring friends, colleagues or a celebration into the same hosted, restaurant-based atmosphere. It is a distinct planning route for a group that wants to share cards, conversation and the hospitality of the room around one social occasion.

WHY ATTEND / 08

Why the night lands

It is more than an ordinary dinner out because the room, the host and the table all give the night a shared direction.

01

The room changes gear

As the restaurant settles into lower light, attention moves towards shared cards and conversation. The mood is intimate rather than theatrical: a late-night table room where people notice the small gestures, the tabletop and the company already in front of them.

HOST / HUMAN CENTRE

Someone is holding the rhythm

A host gives the session its human centre, welcoming arrivals and helping the table retain a sociable pace. It is hospitality first: someone attentive to the room, present for the table and able to keep the evening feeling connected.

03

Everything happens at arm’s length

Cards, chips, glassware and plates are all there in the same physical space. The experience is tactile and shared, shaped by hands across a real table rather than a screen, with dining and conversation folded into the same in-person rhythm.

YOUR NIGHT, IN THE ROOM

The table gives the night a reason

Come for a first visit, return for a familiar social ritual or gather without needing a heavily scripted occasion. The restaurant gives the night its setting; the shared table gives it a reason to unfold together.
